In my kitchen today - Rhubarb Crisp

The rhubarb is coming on beautifully and I couldn't resist picking some. I made rhubarb apple crisp, and the kitchen is filled with the scent of cinnamon and cloves. The tangy rhubarb is set off by sweet apples and a crunchy oat and nut topping. Topped with a dollop of vanilla ice cream, sweetened crème fraiche or whipped cream, it's a heavenly seduction. 

Crisps can be made from just about any fruit. Follow the same recipe and adjust the cinnamon and cloves as needed. See the recipe section for a detailed recipe
