My kitchen today: quick bread
Sweet quick breads make an ordinary breakfast into something not so commonplace. They make a great afternoon snack with a cup of tea and they do beautifully as a quick dessert. Don’t forget that they are made even more delicious smeared with homemade apple butter or orange marmalade. And then there’s the whole other world of savory quick breads.
Almost any recipe can be turned into muffins as long as you reduce the cooking time to about half an hour. See the recipe tab to the left!
