In my kitchen: Strata (for breakfast or not)
A strata is much like a fritatta except it has bread in it. You can make it sweet or savory, depending on your preference. And it is delicious as a main dish for supper, luncheon or breakfast. The best part is that you make it the night before and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight.
Use whatever vegetables you have on hand, add mushrooms, cheese of your choice and if you choose, canadian bacon, browned sausage or leftover chicken.
